What Hondo keeps about you.
Hondo is a spoken radiology study tutor, shared by invitation with a small group. This page says plainly what it records, who processes it, and how to have it removed. Last updated 21 September 2026.
When you sign in
You sign in with your Google account. Google tells Hondo your email address, your name and your profile picture, and nothing else: Hondo never sees your password and asks for no access to your mail, files or contacts. Your email address is checked against the list of people who have been invited. Your account and your sign-in session are stored so that you stay signed in and your study record stays yours.
When you study
Your microphone audio is streamed to Hondo while a session is running so that it can hear your answers. The audio is not stored. It is turned into text and then discarded.
The conversation itself is not kept either. The words you and the tutor say are held only while your session is running, so the tutor can follow the conversation, and are erased when the session ends.
What is kept: which key points you met, partly met or missed; which topics you started, finished or skipped; timings used to measure how fast the tutor responds; and how many minutes you used. This record exists so the tutor can pick up where you left off and so you can ask what you have covered. It is visible to you through the tutor and to the person who runs Hondo. It is not shown to other learners.
Who processes it
Hondo runs on Cloudflare. Your speech is transcribed, and the tutor's voice is produced, by speech models that Cloudflare hosts (Deepgram models on Cloudflare Workers AI). While a session is running, the text of the conversation is sent to OpenAI, whose language model judges your answers and writes the tutor's replies. These companies process the data to provide the service under their own terms. Hondo does not sell your data, does not use it for advertising, and does not share it with anyone else.
The study material
Questions are drawn from prepared radiology study packs. Nothing you say is added to those packs or shown to other learners.
Not for patient information
Hondo is a study aid. Do not describe real patients or say anything that could identify one. It is not a medical device and gives no clinical advice.
Removing your data
Ask the person who invited you, and your account, your sessions and your study record will be deleted. Removing Hondo from your Google account's third-party access list stops future sign-ins but does not by itself delete what is already stored, so ask as well.

If what Hondo records changes, this page changes first, and the date above with it.
